I enjoyed the unexpected discovery of James Kirkup's translation of "Memory from Beyond the Tomb (after Chateaubriand)". However, in the last stanza, I think there is a misprint. Where "still" has been used, I suspect it should have been "till", to maintain the sense of the stanza.

Kirkup was first President of the British Haiku Society. Readers might enjoy visiting their website and also googling anotherkindofpoetry for a satisfying discussion of various aspects of haiku.
